Bill bought this car new in 1967. He had modified it many times and in many ways throughout the years taking it from a fast street car to a full blown race car. When he brought the car to us at Kidd Darrins he had decided the cut out radiuses on all four fenders needed to be replaced with original fenders and quarters– but with a slight modification… Kidd Darrins fabricated complete new front fenders from scratch that are about 1″ wider in the front and did the same for the rear quarters making them 1.5″ wider than stock. The body lines remained true but now the car had a more aggressive look as well as more tire clearances. And that was only the beginning.
A custom front spoiler was fabricated as well as a new aluminum grill bar to replace the stock grill. The side pipes were removed in favor of a pair of custom fabricated rocker panels with a flush hand made chrome accent molding. The new front wider fenders got a custom designed flow through vent opening as well as a hand fabricated aluminum accent molding. The side pipes now gone in favor a stainless dimpled exhaust system facilitated a nice center exhaust vent hand made to echo the the aerodynamic roof line.

Custom designed (reconfigured foam and structure) seats upholstered in two tone with a silver “stinger” to echo the stinger hood on the car. The entire center console is also a one off hand fabricated piece with a slider top door as opposed to the more awkward traditionally side or back hinged door.
